Shoe! are a diy punkrock band from Devon. We know this because of their almost residency at The Cavern Club, Exeter (home of all things diy punkrock), which clocked up over 75 shows there, because of their absolute commitment to Freakscene and The Cavern when times got hard (just listen to Exeter Versus 84 Queen Street for proof), and because their insistence on writing songs about their hometown of Cullompton! Started when Rob, Jon and Cheesman were just 12 years old and before they could play any instruments (Robin joined at the practically ancient age of 17), they might not have got much better, but their songs always meant something. Indie-Punk-Rock like a cross between The Broadways, The Get Up Kids and The Lemonheads.
